Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission to the LESLLA Symposium Proceeding has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; uses the font Times New Roman; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- Remove cross-references. Some Word processor software (e.g. Microsoft Word, Open Office Writer etc.) allow you to insert a hyperlink/cross-reference which links to another section in your text (e.g. to Table 1 or Figure 2). Please don’t use these hyperlinks in your manuscript as they create formatting problems.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines (here APA Style 7th edition).
- Where available, provide DOI numbers for journal articles and URL and retrieval date for less stable sources (e.g. white papers, newspaper articles, blog entries)
- Did you pick the LESLLA Symposium proceedings issue your submission belongs to?
